Above is a link to access President Obama's Cabinet. As discussed in class, the executive branch is outlined in Article II of the Constitution. This Article also mentions how the Cabinet is there to help the President with his daily duties. Scroll down to view the entire Cabinet. Please pick one of the departments that make up the President's Cabinet (Department of Labor, Department of Transportation, etc...) and discuss the topics below:

1) Who is the secretary or administrator of the department? What are his/her qualifications? Discuss some important information about his/her background.
2) What is the mission of the department. What are they responsible for?
3) What is the annual budget of this department? What does most of the funding go towards?
4) Discuss something you already new about this department?
5) Discuss something you just learned about this department that you find interesting.
